The art is amazing, but I think that is partially the issue: it was made by graphic artists, not game designers. It looks rather stunning and has excellent atmosphere but ultimately has slow gameplay that introduces a fantastic concept every hour only to replace it with a mediocre or frustrating mechanic soon after. It’s more like playing ~50 minigames in a row of wildly varying quality. If you have a friend to play it with it could be loads of fun, but because of the friend not the game.

That game is more like for entertainment and building the relationship with others, I would understand but 50 minigames is kinda annoying.
