its an asdfmovie reference
I LOVE THAT GUY!!!
that’s an Aurora XD ref
@John_Shrekinson and anyone else who’s interested, I found the Ultra Magnus trailer at an antique store for $16 which was pretty clean and had the trailer hitch (which is a small panel that also forms the waist in the combined mode). Then I was looking on eBay to find a solid Ultra Magnus cab and I saw this one guy selling G1 Kickback and Ultra Magnus for $15 for the pair. Immediately snagged that and they just arrived.
One of kickbacks legs is was missing, but if I find another parts, it’s an easy fix. Magnus looks pretty good other than some paint wear and one of the smoke stacks was broke, but again, if I had the part, it’s an easy fix.
Still don’t have the helmet, chest piece, hands, or other accessories for him, but I can find them on eBay all day long and I also can just 3D print them as well.
I’m debating if I want to restore this figure by buying repro decals and repainting him, since I don’t plan to resell, but I also want to keep him original since it’s a piece of history so not too sure on that. May just keep him the way it is.
that is really cool looking
Wallace and Gromit has got to be one of my favorite stop motion films
Been wanting to share for a bit.
At a different thrift store, found a bag for $5 and it had 5 figures in it. Mechtech Ratchet, Night Ops Ratchet, Mechtech Sideswipe, Mechtech Laserbeak, and I think it’s Aoe Drift.
Both ratchets are missing a piece on the back and Laserbeak is missing one of his guns and his tail. But Sideswipe and Drift are complete without their accessories.
I also found out the Studio Series Ratchet is literally the exact same mold as this ~2008 Mechtech Ratchet so I’m not too disappointed to missing a piece on him. I can also model it up and print an extra one if need be. Since it’s a popular mold, I can easily find parts for him online, but these figures don’t really hold a lot of value so I may not bother with it. Maybe use them for customs or something.
I definitely want to keep Sideswipe and Drift since they have cool looking car modes.
you guys should watch klayworld, its peak
I remember watching a bit of it back in the day, if it’s the same one I’m remembering.
The stop motion clay series?
Indeed.
Absolute peak
I used to watch a lot of stop motion films back in the day, mostly Lego stuff, but I remember klayworld, definitely a solid one.
I am currently humming the theme as I type this @Selene257
no way no way, you watched that???
Stop Motion is awesome, I remember when I was in 1st Grade, I was on Youtube on my moms phone and I was watching Kirby Stop Motion. I asked my mom “What’s Stop Motion?” and she taught me the whole process of taking pictures and then moving them around. That was the day my phone reached it’s storage limit.
a rocket league fan are you?
