Since the Noise is a combo character, you have to be more quick
Sure both characters are the same speed but with Peppino, if you bump into a wall or something whilst midair you can just climb which is easy to cancel. With the Noise you can bounce off the wall which could be canceled but it brings you into the air quicker which means it’ll take you longer to land on the ground (by maybe like 5 frames but still).
With the Noise, you have to pay much more attention since he’s supposed to be able to take out enemies quicker, so he’ll naturally be more fast in some sort of way other than Mach Running. Like when you interrupt the super jump, Peppino gets some sort of delay whilst the Noise gets it instantly and such other things.
Sure the Noise can be easy if you just spam and crap, but you have to be careful with the way you move and stuff. With Peppino he’s sort of much more slower because a lot of his extra moves are delayed (like I said with the super jump or the climbing)
I remember many very annoying times with the Noise where I would bounce off a wall by mistake during Pizza Time and get caught
