dang, you really know your stuff. 32 gigabytes of ram? dang.

Is it still good if I get one that has 16GB, i5 12400f CPU, RTX 4050 GPU with good heat dissipation? (gaming laptop 'cause I probably download and play heavy game)

Im gonna have to do some research when I get home.

16 GB is good, but will become outdated soon. Do 32.
Avoid Intel CPUs as recently there’s been rumors circulating about them… exploding. Go AMD.
4050 is good, but not great. I would avoid that. If you don’t care about Raytracing, FG, and DLSS, get an AMD card as these are INSANE performance for low prices. Otherwise, if you’re sticking with team green. I would suggest a 4060, 3060, 2080, or 1080 Ti.

Plus, I’m also gonna use it for more projects in school.

ray tracing is cool, but it just means more lag.

Yeah I don’t use it. I’m planning to upgrade to AMD cards after my 4060 burns out

So a laptop:

  • CPU: AMD
  • RAM: 32GB
  • GPU: RTX 4060
    But which AMD?

On a side note though, I’d hesitate to recommend a 4060. Its price : performance ratio is screwed. The 40 series in general kind of sucked, the 4070, 80, and 90, are great, but those are pricey. If you can instead manage a 4070 Ti or higher, do that, but otherwise pick a 30 series card or go AMD.
4060 is a great card, but it’s expensive.

welp, talk to you all later

Which laptop is the best right now? (computer blind, don’t ask why)

If you’re going to do gaming please avoid laptops.

But I really need something mobility for projects:(

ive been using this thing for the past year or two

If you’re just working with Flowlab, a higher end work laptop will do.
