Minecraft Live just got on my nerves just because we got dried after the ghast dehydrated, you feed the dried ghast you found with snowballs after you put it in the water while the ghast was supposed to shoot fireballs, live in hot place like nether, a place that donāt even have any water source.

I think there was some lore or theories on the ghasts as to why they are always crying, mostly because they are trapped souls in the nether who donāt belong there. Mostly going off of the Uneasy Alliance achievement where you bring a ghast into the over world and kill it, as such freeing itās soul or something like that.
So I can see how how you could find dormant ghasts and free them by bringing them to the over world and then making happy ghasts, but the mechanic itself doesnāt feel very vanilla.

I find it nice to have another duplicate between the overworld and the nether in Minecraft. Donāt even get me on weāve had enough of those, Iād rather not care
