Yeah but the catch is (and I neglected to say this very publicly) that wasnāt possible. The only thing that happened was a very steep 80% discount as a result, and I said pretty clearly it was temporary.

Well, a discount is still a discount. If Iām brought a 2,000 PC for months and a month refund, then see the same PC with 80% discount, I probably regret about it too.
Fwiw I donāt think 2-4 hours of gameplay with considerable replay / NG+ value for $5 is a bad dealā¦
Also it went on sale multiple times in the past for similar discounts
Yeah but that rarely happens. And again itās not like anyone lost out, iirc not many copies sold during the discount period anyway
