I just beat radiance on that save file (and got the sealed siblings ending as well, just for the achievement)
I still need to do the path of pain, but I’m getting all the Unbreakable charms right now (grinding colloseum of fools for geo)

Im sure its a good game, but I cannot figure out where to go. Spending hours upon hours roaming halls finding nothing is not very fun.

No offense, but after watching you play Bendy and the Ink Machine, your directional senses were a little rough.
However, you were also interacting with chat at the time as well, so you overlooked different hints.

It’s been a minute since I’ve played hollow knight, but most if it is just exploring new areas and you eventually find bosses that let you progress.
I know silksong introduced this sort of quest (wishes) system that helps give you leads on certain things. Plus, it straight up has an objectives menu which is pretty nice.
