# 👨‍⚖️ Tidal Reign - Summer Flowjam 2025

Our most technologically complex game submitted for a flowjam (moreso than Parse), Tidal Reign was a massively, ridiculously ambitious project. And while stuff is missing from the game, it’s fully functional and you can play it!

In Tidal Reign you declare a space colony and settle a world with a band of… let’s call them familiar characters! The game has a mix of “old” and new characters designed and written by a user on discord named “Dan”. It features music made by @logan_K1 and @HuckleBerry + @extrez tackled the character art (NOT my specialty!)

Tidal Reign would not have been possible without our five person team. And while there are some minor non-game breaking bugs along with the game not being challenging enough, it’s still complete and I am extremely proud of it. I’m also extremely excited to see people’s colonies they build! If you completed the game feel free to share your colony! Have fun!

I am planning on making a companion game (sort of) where you play as a soldier for the U.C.E, do you have any tips?

Can you remind me exactly what a companion game is? Do you mean those digital pet games or?
