as a general piece of advice, unless the person is trying to make their character look like a specific other character design, it’s not very nice to compare their work to something that already exists since it makes it seem like you’re not crediting the artist with the design and insinuating that it’s derivative.
It’s not often fun to work on a character you enjoy only to have someone say it looks like someone else’s character. Even if you intend it as a compliment, there are better ways to phrase it
