You could have total kills or something which adds up everything the player and npcs kill.

Oh cool im gonna ad a high score thing where it shows how many rounds each REAL player survived.

Your working with each other as a team but you still have a competition on how man kills you each have. so as you can see im in first place. even though we all died.
