I tried making it so when the player touches the wall and presses up, it launches him up and back, but it ends up with him always jumping back, on the wall or not, not jumping at all, or just jumps back a centimetre and lands on the same spot. I don’t know what to do, please reply.
when you do that use an impulse of a -4 on the forward also add an impulse of 13 on the Y axis. thats for basic wall jumps
okay, I tried it but the same thing happens
this is kinda what i did http://www.flowlab.io/game/play/72926
What the heck is going on with your logic? Everything looks right, but it’s not working right…
yeah… i have no idea.
you need two sets of the jump mechanism one for each side
and u need a collition with the down to turn it off
ohhhhhh… ok. Thanks!
ok, i the down collision thing helped a lot but for some reason the character keeps jumping backwards (not on the wall)…
It seems this will be a bigger chore than I thought, I wanted a wall jump too, but never got around to it.
this is my example of a wall jump https://flowlab.io/game/view/84369
WOW. that acually worked! im pretty sure thats the first succesful wall jumper made here
