hi i’m new here and i want to make a text based game (like doki doki)
from what i’ve saw i don’t think i can but wanted to ask other people on here.
It is possible to make any kind of 2D game on here, it’s just how difficult it is to do that makes it seem far fetched.
Flowlab is mainly for creating side-scrolling platformers in pixel art, but can also be used to make top-down games as well, and those would be the easiest to make, but that’s not all this can do. Like I said before, flowlab can make practically any 2D Game.
I would tag users like @JR01 , @MetaNinja and others who could help you make this step by step.
Hey @kieran871 - it’s possible to create a text-based game, but Flowlab is definitely far from the ideal tool for that at this moment.
There is an upcoming update (hopefully within the next week or two) that will add much improved text manipulation and handling, so I would definitely wait for that before attempting a text-based game.

Welll good thing i havent worked on text in my game yet, that means i will have more proper dialoge for my story! thanks grazer!
