I made a cool bounce game as a procedural generator test. If anyone can look in the code and tell me how to add a score, that would be great.
This could be really cool - I think it needs a way to jump through the platforms though
Ight. I’ll try to make some semisolids. thx grazer!
Argggg player keeps getting stuck in the platforms…
Not sure if you fixed it already, but it’s working great for me
I think it’s already kind of fun even in this very basic version.
It’s like Doodle Jump.
True, but lots of people love Doodle Jump, and it’s a pretty fun mechanic
I never said it being like doodle jump was a bad thing. Both are really fun.
Really great, just spread the spawn of the trampolines!
Yeah, I’ve tried coding that. Don’t know what’s up with that code, tho… It should be working, but it’s not…
Also, another method that I used was proximity to a bounce pad on the start of a bounce pad’s creation. It worked really well, but making semisolids cancelled that out…
Okay, new plan. (I’m back, btw.) I’m making the platforms non-solid, but on their creation they will attach a solid block. This might work…
Thas a good idea.
Good idea, but the solids aren’t working!!!
@grazer, can you tell me why it’s able to pass two completely different filters at once?
how in the world is 134 less than -1???
@grazer something’s wrong here…
