I’m trying to recreate the pult type plants from plants vs zombies.
They detect an enemy on the same lane and lob projectiles. I’ve got this in a really clunky way.
But if someone knows how to make it, I’d love an example.

I have no idea what you want to create exactly. Do you want it to show where the thing in the catapult is going to go? Do you want a catapult to work?

Just look at Plants VS zombies melon/ cabbage/ kernel-pult. and that is EXACTLY what I need.

So you want something to throw an object? Just make a dense (heavy) object to shoot and emit it during an animation.

You’ve never played PVZ have you?
The goal is that it ARCS over the field and lands on the enemy. But it doesn’t hit any other enemies, which it will pass due to going up.
Hard to explain if you don’t know what I’m referring to.

Make the object summon something when it hits the ground to deal damage.
