Big bread's Physics Playground

Have fun playing around with various random physics interactions!

New “Release” Update:

Adds:

  • 3 functions for the mouse cursor
    – Shoot: Clicking will fire the player’s bomb arm
    – Pull: Will pull all objects towards it, some objects have different pull strengths than others
    – Push: Same as Pull, but will instead push objects away
  • Ragdolls
    – Complete with all their arms, legs, and color variations. They can stand up too!
  • Two variations of Spherical objects
    – Small and bouncy
    – Large and heavy, Bomb-resistant, but more magnetic
  • Water, most objects will float in it
  • Asphalt (Has more friction than default terrain)
  • Bouncy terrain (pink)
  • The player will now look around to the cursors position

Fixes:

  • Player not gliding across the ground while moving

If you have any ideas for cursor modes, or new objects, let me know, I’m up for community suggestions!

Nice game. You should add health to the civilians, let the car kill them…

Im going to find so many glitches that it will make you insane

Going great so far, but I think you should have a more complex stage. (because right now it is pretty flat).

It would be cool if you added a cursor that made it so that when you were on the camera of the main human it would start walking towards the cursor

Same with the car where the car will start driving towards the cursor too if you’re on the camera side of it

Although I have no idea how you would make them walk

I think he sped the red light at the crosswalk…

This is really cool, nice work!
I would suggest not making the wheel Joints flexible, and instead just decrease the wheels’ density. This will allow them to still flex somewhat, but they won’t get thrown around wildly whenever the car collides with a ramp or other solid objects. Just an idea…

He didn’t get an A on his driving test…

Thanks lol, I did this and also made the car a bit bulkier to hopefully stop stuff from clipping into it all the time

It’s surprisingly fast with both the loading and the gameplay. Did you just use normal joints and behaviors?

Yeah, I did. I’m actually most surprised at the magnets working as smooth as they do, since it’s proximity based

Yeah. I can’t seem to rip apart any of the humans…

Dang, really?

Oops, the magnets and explosions use a lot of math, actually (shoutout to Galactian)
It’s the water that uses proximity

Worse imo.

math makes it less laggier im pretty sure
