Can anyone please explain why there is still a bounce when the moveable object collides with the non-moveable one even though the physics bounce setting is set to zero? This bounce is most apparent when the collision occurs on the corners of the non-moveable object. This is the test game: Flowlab Game Creator - The Gidon Catastrophe
your objects are set to a circle hitbox
set them to a rectangle to fix it
Thank you very much! That is it. So does that mean the “bounce” is not really a bounce controlled by the bounce slider, but some other physics behaviour when the hitbox is not a square?
the player was sliding into the circle and getting pushed to the side and since you have no artificial top down friction, it just kept sliding until you moved
