I was just a bit startled at the code. What is this code even for?

Iā€™m gonna be honest and just say, I have no idea what you even need that many numbers for.

I figured you would have a ton of random events that effect the player, such as inventory gain/loss, etc, and then have each day and decision start a new event.

Although I feel like if I attempted something like that, the code would probably look worse than that, lol.

Why not just use the 'Random" behavior?

Itā€™s really simple. Iā€™m sure you can replace the current system pretty easily.

Yeah but a lot of em are connected to important things so removing all 4-6 of those will break the game completely (yes there 4-6 of thos in the game LOL)

i have no idea why but sickness 2 doesnt work well

In reality, you would only need Antibiotics which help for any deep wound or sickness, since Antibiotics help prevent bacterial infection and sickness at the same time.

I like how in-depth you are going in the game, but I also feel you are kind of making it harder on yourself as well.

The zombie is now randomized right? I had one speed through the room but I got it thankfully.

also i had to move the boxes to the other side of the room bc twhen ur fighting the zombie you open box aswell and cant hit the zombies

im actually gonna have 1 pill type for sickness bc i cant get the staged pills working, but i can make each stage worse

Iā€™m not sure if thereā€™s combat or physical damage in the game. Like you get shot during an expedition or attacked by strangers or something, but you could have tiers in terms of damage.
Letā€™s say you just get into a fistfight, you just recieve recoverable damage so you can regenerate over time without the use of any medicine or bandages. If you get stabbed or shot, then you need bandages to stop the bleeding or else youā€™ll slowly lose health and perish. You could also add the chance for an infection to occur so you will need Antibiotics to cure yourself or else youā€™ll continue to lose health and perish.

You could still have tiers in terms of sickness, but make it so that when you take Antibiotics, thereā€™s a chance it wonā€™t fully heal you, so the more sick or infected you get, the bigger the chance becomes that you donā€™t recover. That way itā€™s more dangerous to wait to take antibiotics.

You could make it more advanced and have so that after the first day or so, thereā€™s a chance you can simply recover on your own without Antibiotics, but make it kind of a risky decision as well. That way thereā€™s a chance to recover even if you donā€™t have any medicine.

If youā€™re looking to kill some time adding smaller details to the game, I feel this kind of system would be very interesting and overall make the game more realistic in terms of damage and sickness.

Iā€™m not sure if radiation poisoning is a feature in your game or not, but you could add another type of medication to cure yourself of that. Similar to the medicine system I stated above, if you neglect it for too long, you can mutate or something horrific. Although with Radiation poisoning, there probably wonā€™t be a chance to recover on your own, since radiation tends to linger.

Would be nice additions to the game if itā€™s not already, but if it sounds too complicated for the system you currently have in place, then I probably wouldnā€™t bother.
