CHALLENGES

Thanks @F3Art I spent a fair amount of time on this. More than I spent on Carnival, but not as much as I spent on Omicron. I did most of the art in https://www.piskelapp.com. I use that for anything more complicated than a basic sprite.

@todorrobot I’ve never heard of piskelapp, but I think I’ll try it.

@F3Art piskel has its own quirks for sure and other people have their favorite graphic editors, but I use Piskel for anything more complicated than a basic place-holder sprite.

Pretty fun! Very original.
Gameplay: 6/10
This game has potential, although at the moment it is nigh impossible.
Controls: 10/10
Very smooth, not much to say here except maybe add turning.
Art/graphics: 8/10
Like always, this is an awesomely desgined game. This fit 3D Shoooter well and I honestly didn’t expect something this high quality.

Thanks @meburningslime Glad you enjoyed it. I found this challenge easier than I thought it would be. It’s really just a fancy illusion of depth instead of a true 3-D environment. I had originally intended to do an up/down axis as well, but it was already getting complicated. If I ever get around to Laser Dave II (yeah right, get in line buddy!) I might try to do the math involved to have an off screen “arena” map that translates a raycast into sprite size % from player POV.

@todorrobot I’m excited to see where you will go with it! @F3Art your game will be reciewed next.
