Character Selection, street fighter

I’m trying to make a street fighter like game and I can’t get the red character to spawn in on the map select world Flowlab Game Creator - New Game

I made and is possible I’ll send you the link in a min

It’s not impossible, it’s been done many times it’s probably with your rookie knowledge that you can’t figure something out as simple as this.

That’s not a very good first message

Wolfinger I’m on mobile rn so I can check the game that was sent, but if it doesn’t work for you let me know and I’ll try to help. It’s definitely not impossible, it’s not too difficult with the right help

@wolfingerj27, how is your map select system supposed to work?

maybe post something a little more helpful or help seeking, considering that your first post was just “well you’re bad and you can’t do it”?

Nice better than mine.

this is very confusing for me I just started coding in general and it’s just for my class so I have 0 knowledge about this stuff, this is my game so far Flowlab Game Creator - New Game, I want a map selection feature too

it would be cool if when they spawned and landed on the bricks the character would go to the P2 selection screen then one character walks into a door to the map then they both spawn in on the map and start playing

Hmm, I’ll give a look at the game later today and try to find a method that works better for you

As a first game, I wouldn’t recommend a street fighter, but if you really try you’ll learn a lot by doing it. It looks like you have some partial system in place for selecting the characters, now you need…? I’m not sure the next part you’re looking for

For this you can check if the player collides with the door, and if they do, move onto the next level.

Or if you would like a button to be pressed when in front of the door, have a proximity look for the player. If they player is inside the proximity, turn a switch on that allows the button press to go through.

I saw that my post was edited.

I apologize for the harsh words, forum.admin27.
