Lol, review Magnus because why not I guess
Oh right, Magnus!
Oh boy, what a throwback.
I did go into the code a week ago to patch some things, lol :3
Still broken as hell, lol
probably my most complete game rn
The game I ask nearly every reviewer to review:
Lol, the code sucks a bit
Rotatio - By Hihilogic
Game Mechanics
8/10 - Despite the difficulty of using the controls, it was fun to fly around exploding stuff
Music
No score - Played it in class… and well, couldn’t turn my volume up, sorry!
Story
No score - I don’t think there is a story
Art
7/10 - Nice and simple, and well polished.
Polishing
9/10 - really well done, I liked the transitions and floating objects.
Difficulty
5/10 - Controls are too difficult, might be better to use a mouse to shot so there are less fingers on keys.
For anyone else wanting to try the game:
That’s quite odd, I checked out the game today-
I have a new way for the cameras to transition.
- Ray casting with ONE object
- Locking the player into the section when the camera transitions, I don’t feel like the player should go back.
Anyways, I might just edit it myself- fixing the camera transitions.
The 1 game is very dissapointed
They do suck pretty bad. I’m not sure why I made so many blocks for it
Got it
I’ll make a poll and see if other people agree.
i agree with that, at first i didn’t read the instructions and was trying to use the mouse lol
Then vote for the poll in the topic, lol
where’s the poll??
In the forum, silly goose
Do you offer private reviews? Like if I would want to submit an unfinished game to help point out things to fix when you release the game? (Also, so we could talk about spoilers without the rest of the community seeing)
oooooh did someone say BETA TESTERS?
Of course, you could DM me in discord. But would you still want me posting scores here? Or, just to you for private feedback?
here for my usual request of this game being reviewed
But now it’s more user friendly
I mean, I thought it was going to be a side-scroller…
Side scrollers are typically better for skating games, but if you want to make a top-down I would suggest giving the depth a bit of an angle so people can actually see what’s going on. If you need a bit of a reference, try the skateboarding games in the google island champions game.
I might actually change it to platformer
