Does anyone have a display order example? Say for instance, you have a tree in your game. When you go behind the tree, it appears to be in front of you, but when you go in front of the tree, it appears to be behind you.
Always → extract(y) → display order
Just put that it your tree and player objects

In my flowjam game Room For None I had to do this for a lot of the walls and furniture. It’s the exact process that @Pixel_Name1 said, but if you want to see it in action it’s there
I think the Display order Behavior Help video shows a logic bit to do this
little update: I was wrong. We had that example but then replaced the idea with a simpler logic. Sorry for the misinformation.
