I mean… you could go watch a YouTube tutorial on how to make a top down game, all you have to do then is just customize the sprites and ad the code to make it multiplayer…
There aren’t many flow lab tutorials on YouTube, so it’s better to find a top-down flow lab game and look at the code.
I watched This Rob Campbell guy when I was starting out and a bunch of other channels starting out… but you make a valid point

I just used the flow lab tutorial, and things just started flowing.
You mean the one that you select the start of a new project or the fella on youtube?
The platformer one on flow lab. Though it’s on a platformer, it gives a basic overview on the behaviors, but the most useful tool for my learning was… Curiosity!
