The only time I ever use AI or someoneās work is mostly for references. Since AI has very little bounds, I use it to generate some very unhuman ideas unlike traditional art that already exists.
But none of my works were from someone else. I try to be as original as possible.

To make their work better or your own?
If you take someone elseās work (with permission) and update/improve it for their use in a game, youāre simply just helping them. I wouldnāt consider that using their work at all.

No, but I did have an AI edit it. I had no idea that the technology would be unable to hold to the pixel art, and that it made mistakes. I do apologize for any confusion, but I do believe I had checked to ensure that it was beautiful without mistakes on my or the Aiās part.
