From what Iām hearing, it seems like you made slight modifications to his code.
Slight modifications != Your own code. Thatās not how it works.
If itās an example sure take whatever code you need, but when itās actually a real game, be more considerate. Even if youāre ātesting itā, very good chance youāll use a ton of the system in place from it.
And I donāt think you made this for the jam, given that I literally saw this game with basically nothing in it a couple of days ago. But if you do want to submit for the jam, just click the page where it says the rules. After 3-4 days of the jam starting, there will be a submit button at the top of the page.
I mean no offense by this, but youāre not as good as you think, or havenāt done anything to prove it. I feel you often act as if you do some amazing code, when in reality itās just slight modifications to an example. I donāt say this to discourage you, I say this to get you to actually improve. Knowing where your true limits are and not overestimating yourself is super important to improving.
Of course everyone probably thinks theyāre slightly better than they actually are, but when you blow it out of reality thatās not helpful at all.
However, upon examining this myself, I donāt think it looks like galactians code. While his code isnāt as neat as I would personally like, itās not a mess. And the code here is just ew. But of course everyone will blindly disagree with me and say āif it works, it worksā.
But once again, I donāt know the original code of Bloodlust like Galactian does, so if he sees it being very similar, then idk what to say.

If Galactican is okay with it, hifive could just rename the game to āDollar General Bloodlustā and he can learn to never steal someoneās gameās code ever again. Then Dollar General Bloodlust would be like a reminder to never steal someoneās code.
