Extractor wont accept Object types

i was making an object follow the player until this stopped me. whenever i put the player (Megamann) into the slot, it automatically switches back to “object 29”.

Extractors can only work on a single level.

You have to put the EXACT object
Not just the type

Proximity is a better way to do it

Then how do i make the proximity triggers do it?
i have the extractors on ONE LEVEL and i have the object (Object 679). but whenever i put the type it doesn’t change to that type… i just want to know why its changing to new type 29 instead of staying at Megamann.

Proximity triggers are similar, but will only trigger if in the bubble field it has, there’s a slider in the node that sets the size of the field.

It may be reused between levels

Then how do i make the proximity triggers do it?

Just connect the x/y where the extractors (for the object being detected) would go. Also, keep the exactors that are set to the player.

Don’t forget to turn off only trigger once
