I think you just took the arguments out of context and I think we get the point. I don’t want another argument to start out cause they tend to clog the forums a lot and it usually becomes a mess.
So it’s probably best we just let it go. Which idc who’s side you think is best, it’s probably just a subject that should be let go.
Everything seems to be silent at the moment and I wished it would stay that way.
Actually, no, I didn’t, and you know that. I made a meme to mock the whole civil war thing, you remember, because you were there, and Meburningslime’s first response was with attack. Then he gave in a bit, but because he doesn’t like Cri’s sense of humour, it fell apart immediately
And when conflict happens, you can’t just ignore it, because that creates grudges. You start a problem, you solve it. Otherwise, you just have a mess in your wake
But regardless, yes, this argument clearly isn’t going anywhere, since I’ve probably stated my point at least three times an no one’s listening
That’s not really the point. I’m just saying that the argument needs to stop. I don’t want anymore fights in the forum and I really don’t care anymore of what happened in the past. I know what’s already been done and can’t be changed. Not sure why you have to keep throwing that out there. We already know.
You guys literally need to shut the hell up

Ignore my vote I did that to see the results
Idk how to even play mortal kombat. I just look at one combo and use it the whole entire time
Flowlab Kombat is literally all about that right now; at least until there are more attacks
(in MK11 I do that too but I’m more or less effektive with certain kombatants.)
Sorry about that, if you want to make a remake then you can, I go now
That was taken out of context. And I do not believe that. @JR_01 , @todorrobot and @grazer are all adults and I respect them more than nearly anyone.
Anyways, good job on your game! I will be looking forward to the finished project.

Thanks @meburningslime . no offense taken (you’d have to try a lot harder to offend me)
I think Flowlab Kombat is a great challenge for attempting/learning how to program a complex fighting set up. I’m eagerly awaiting the results to see how it works and can use that to learn from to eventually work on my own fighting game. I’ve also always wanted to do a side scrolling Double Dragon style brawler staring Raiden in a solo adventure and watching this progress will help that.
I think a lot of people start out trying to recreate familiar games (SMB being a common one) because they know how it is supposed to “feel” and attempting to recreate that is a valid driving force for advancing your skills. I’ve tried twice to recreate Q-Bert and my newest project is a straight deconstruction of Pitfall. Pushing the limits of Flowlab with something “new” — even though it is wearing familiar (and proprietary) sprites — is the end goal regardless if it’s a AAA clone or something completely original.
It the end, squabbling over originality or game names or release versions gets us nowhere. There are like what, 20-30 people on this forum? This should be a place to share and compare and support and promote and learn. Knowing how to give and receive constructive criticism is part of that learning process. Being petty and pedantic is counter productive on all fronts.
understandable, have a great day
thanks!
I hope you do well on your future games!
indeed
“certain” is pronounced with an “s” sound, which is why I did not replace the C with a K.
We do not speak of that name here
I’m glad everyone is getting along now, and people who don’t have left. Please ping me on future updates!
We never left, we just talked about it on discord and concluded that we shall no longer fight with the child agency of flagging.
