Flowlab Kombat | Mortal Kombat but Flowlab

Remaking a game doesn’t necessarily mean they don’t want to improve. It could just mean something that they want to try out different sources of code, but using an already made game as sort of an outline to try it out on. That’s the main reason LogicStudioz and I wanted to make a surviv.io game to further try out the multiplayer feature and a working gun inventory system.

I don’t get why y’all are so adamant on closing topics but stop flagging people and move the topic to something else, like the lounge.

Idk who is flagging all of the posts, or who they are. I only flagged haevoc and one other users post and that was pretty much it.

  • They’re not improving if they’re just stealing other people’s sprites and tiles

  • The surviv.io game has a specific purpose in mind, and was made to improve. You ignored the part where I said that this is a public forum designed for feedback. If you don’t want feedback, then A. Say that you don’t want it, or B. Don’t post here.

I don’t get why someone couldn’t just make a Mortal Kombat like game instead of making a clone. Use these games as inspirations, not something that you take the ideas and assets from.

Yeah, reference.

I used reference just a few days ago when making Drift.

( I used Starblast 2 as reference )

No, I didn’t ignore that part. I actually agreed with you on that so thats why I didn’t say anything, but I’m just going to guess my opinion just isn’t going to matter…

Why am I such an argument starter?

I agree with @MrMcMemerMan and @ManiacPumpkin.
A. If you don’t like the project, leave the discussion. I know, mind blowing.
B. It’s a fun project. Believe it or not, it’s for fun. They can make a dev log if they want.

Not you, they just like to pick fights. Sorry for the collateral damage

Picking fights?.. Us?

Because we’re flagging all of Agent_Y’s posts, I mean… The ones that do ZERO harm?

It wasn’t your fault at all. Some people just don’t like the idea of remaking games, which I guess it kinda depends on what your main motive is, which the debate can go both ways. But I’m just assuming that people would rather others to make their own creation instead of making remake of something else.

Seriously… The one post I actually like on purpose is the one that says I’ve reached my like limit…

CAN’T I JUST LIKE A POST WITHOUT WAITING 16 HOURS?

lol, I hate it when that happens.

It doesn’t happen to me for some reason

“I agree with @MrMcMemerMan and @ManiacPumpkin.” Is that supposed to be surprising?

A. Once again, if you are posting on a forum designed for feedback and don’t want feedback, clarify or don’t post at all. It’s not our fault that we’re doing what this place is designed for. Your group seems to have a knack for defying that rule.

B. Yes, I know. This is a forum designed for feedback on game development. If you don’t want feedback, for the millionth time, clarify or don’t post

Usually, on a busy day, I end up using all of my likes and have to wait a while for more.
