Why, when I ask people to not do something, they ALWAYS end up doing it?
Sometimes the jaw does loosen and you’ll have tighten the bolts holding it in place. The repeated use of it is better for organic material rather than metal, but it should hold up for at least a decade before you need to swap out the screws and replace the hydraulic fluid. Some polishing of the hinges may also be required if it’s too stiff
