Whatâs one game that really impressed you this Flowjam?
There was a Flowjam
Yeah, it gets so quiet on the forums during the time and itâs hard to even notice anything big is going on, lol.
Except the big topic that says 2024 Winter Flowjam.
Well, not exactly. From what Iâve seen the past several years, whenever a flowjam starts up, it gets super quiet. The only active discussions are the flowjam discussion I dev logs, but with everyone working on their game, it becomes a ghost town.
At least what Iâm saying, is that Iâve seen the forums much more busy before. I remember hopping in to see 200+ messages just on the otc alone.
Oh nooâŠ
We definitely need to add a Banner to the My Games page Next time too.
What do you think made you miss it?
We even posted a video on Flowlabâs Youtube.
We are open for your feedback and thoughts, if you have any.
Also, @ManiacPumpkin and others, you should definitely join the official Flowlab Discord
Itâs where all Devs hang out and talk about Flowjam and share their progess.
The forums are more of a place to ask for help, and not hang out.
Even though, our Discord also has a place where you can ask for Help and get knowledge rom other Helpful Devs!

I think it would definitely be a good idea to put it in the my games page.
I agree with Overma, a banner would be quite helpful.
Iâm on the discord, but Iâve just neglected to socialize on there.
Mostly since I had some bad run ins with past users.
Honestly, I was impressed by multiple games. Most of all: Parse-O-Rythm and Apotheosis, and the art from Passing Trough was out of this world.
what did you think of hymn of blood?
Hyme of blood was pretty good, and it had a long gameplay, but the objective was pretty faint, and the knockback was slightly annoying. I liked the art though!
i shouldâve probably stated the fact that you had to explore heavily in the gameâs description. the game is a metroidvania, a genre built around exploration
you can actually beat the game with only the first upgrade(the parry)
One game that really impressed me this Flowjam was A Slight Altarcation. Like many games this Flowjam, it was fun and had really good art. But what impressed me the most about it was the âawaiting clickâ function (which I believe makes the menu and music functional only after clicking the game because of browser security stuff) and quantity & quality of the skill trees. The game could be played for hours with itâs intuitive design and gameplay . Though I also think that sup3r might win again this time that Parse-O-Rhythm is great and neither the first nor last epic game (with eases) that gets made with flowlab in the rhythm game genre or by the developer. Last but not least, Hymn of Blood had a really cool logo and the game was adorned with impressive uses of typography.
