Do you have any recommendations on what screen-recording app we should use? Iā€™ve never actually made a video of anything on a computer screen.

Screencastify (For web-browsers)! Or OBS (App Only)

All computers should have screen recording, I use Macā€™s default screen recording. Though I know OBS is very popular (and I used it for my first couple of videos)
Then, because I use a Mac, I have an external app called Blackhole to record internal audio (Game audio)

Ever since Pug said that OBS should be used to screen-record instead, I tried it and honestly itā€™s super good. If you canā€™t download OBS then I would use Screencastify which is an extension for google chrome. I donā€™t know if itā€™s on other browsers though.

@CodeAlpaca if you canā€™t record the run it could still be verified if the chosen game has a leaderboard for how long youā€™ve played right?
(Like the one in GOF)

Yes, for something like that it is allowed :+1:
Funnily Kitr and the rest of the cat gang found some bugs in GOF which allowed them to have those crazy scores of ~100 (though they have been patched out)

It appears to be the exact same clip, but Iā€™ll add it.
A game link is also required so I can put it on the sheet

Slightly improved my score.

Any recommendations on games you think would be good to speedrun/get the high score on? (They should be high quality, which is why I typically only do featured games)

Black N White is an interesting one to do, maybe some of the older games as well like Tread

Iā€™m still trying to beat your Stop At Nothing record. PLEASE do not improve your score any further.

Thatā€™s my cue! Time to beat the World record!

Never mind. I canā€™t beat 50 seconds.

Do you have a video on how you did it. I want to know the secret to solve this!

I added some notes to how I take the turns here

I thought I was going to get faster than the 47.86 so I didnā€™t bother saving the video, but I couldnā€™t  However the 47.96 is up on the youtube channel

Sorry for being off-topic but;
How does one create a doc/slide public, without showing the creatorā€™s account?

I just clicked the ā€œShareā€ button in the top left, then set it to Anyone With Link.

If you use Google Chrome or Microsoft Edge, there is the Vimeo extension (in the Chrome web store) which lets you edit and record videos. If you use this and want game audio, be sure to click the ā€œrecord system audioā€ switch. This extension also requires a Vimeo account, and automatically uploads your video to Vimeo, but it wonā€™t be publicly shown unless you want it to. From there you can download your video to your computer as a .mp4 and upload it to YouTube or anywhere else.
