Spider-Man but on Flowlab. Inspired by Spider-Man (2000) by Neversoft and 90s/00s Spider-Man stuff in general. Currently in an open beta (as of this topic’s creation) with 5 playable spider-people. (all of which I have a figure of lol.)
After about 30 days after this original post’s creation, the (character list/controls) description below may become outdated. When that happens, check the game for the most up-to-date description!
Story
Spider-Man is kinda broke and his rent is due, so he needs to collect coins while fighting crime. Help him pay his rent!

Spider-Man created by Stan Lee and Steve Ditko and owned by Marvel. This is an unofficial fan-made video game that is NOT associated with Marvel, Marvel Entertainment, Disney, Insomniac Games, or any other official party.
Added a 7th playable character: Web Runner Spider-Man. He’s basically a regular classic Spider-Man except he’s shiny and the blue parts are gold. I call him “Web Runner” because that’s the vehicle he originally came with back in 1994: Web Runner (with Spider-Man) - Spider-Man - Vehicles - Toy Biz Action Figure
Added moving purple light VFX to the main menu!
Replaced the blurry LEGO Spider-Men screenshot taken from Battle for Flowlab season 1 episode 4 with a higher quality image of my retro Spider-Man collection as seen earlier in this topic.
Fixed a serious bug where the Daily Bugle sign had its collision shape set to circle, which sounds harmless but actually isn’t. Because the sign is so wide, the circle collision shape around it caused most of the top floor of the Bugle to be blocked off by an invisible force. I spent a good hour or so before I solved the issue.
Wrote objectives for the level
Added grass on top of the grass
Changed level 1 music and updated all music blocks’ sound behaviors to the latest version. “Muting” now actually pauses the song and “unmuting” now actually resumes it.
NEW!
Art gallery level. You can access it from the “Gallery” button on the main menu. Right now it has up to 18 different traditional and pixel art drawings of Spider-Man I’ve made over the years from 2022-2025.
Added 2 black suits, one from the animated series and one from Spider-Man 3. If you type in the secret codes [spoiler]hint: years that the movie or episode came out, you can play as these early. Otherwise, you can play as them only in the levels that they’re designated for, which aren’t made yet. Making the secret codes was a lot of fun.
Swapped around the photo gallery and level-select music tracks
Added version info to the main menu
Made it so that there’s a hover-only button which spawns the art gallery and photo viewer buttons underneath it
Added a Flowlab button and YouTube button, each with different functions for left-click and right-click.
Forgor to mention that I added another criminal or two last time
Made it so that the Spider-Man TAS black suit has black webs while the Spider-Man 3 black suit doesn’t, which is accurate to the movie (just like Spider-Man 2 on the PS5)
Hid some Easter Eggs in player code
Started prebuilding more levels and planning for cutscenes
Updated the second Forge map by rebuilding it from the ground up. It’s no longer the same layout as an early forge/testing level for the first version of Taile Gamougg 1 remake (before I cloned Gamougg 2 remake to make Gamougg 1 remake since 2 had become a good base).
Added Photo Mode!!
Enter and exit Photo Mode by pressing O. It’s basically the same thing as pausing the game except that the UI doesn’t show.
