Update 7

  • Added cutscenes! I was inspired to make the cutscenes like this after watching a playthrough of the classic SNES/SEGA Genesis game Maximum Carnage (which was based on the comics storyline of the same name).
  • Updated UI positioning. Scroll up in this topic to see how it looked before.
  • Added Ultimate Venom. Reference image below.
  • Fixed player jumping and swinging animation frame delays.
  • Added more enemies
    • A bunch of Symbiotes
    • A big Symbiote.
  • Began making the story and cutscenes (only one for now).
  • Enhanced the Gallery button and the Next Map button.
  • Finished making the first 4 levels!
  • Started making levels 5-7.
  • Updated 3 of the level buttons. Try and figure out the lore reason why. John Shrekinson custom Spider-Man emoji fanmade :thinking:

  • Balls
    • Added Spider-Balls with 4 different randomly selected patterns

    • Added Ninja Balls from Gamougg 2 Remake, but they’re a different color and they don’t explode into pink smoke

    • Both balls are bouncy balls. I was inspired to make these after suddenly recalling memories of a small Spider-Man ball I used to have as a kid (with Scott Johnson art on it).
