I donā€™t mean any offence either, but someone is still flagging all my posts when theyā€™re remotely negative.

That, I have no idea about.

I spoke to grazer about maybe limiting flags to a certain role. The ability for anyone to just delete someone elseā€™s message when it makes them unhappy is too much power to give to just anyone.

Like only trust level 3 / regulars?

Probably something else, weā€™ll see.

I have never flagged anybody.

I did it like twice when I first discovered it was a thing, but itā€™s such a rude move considering you donā€™t even know who did it. Itā€™s like someone slapping you while you were blindfoldedā€¦

Yeahā€¦ there is a way to tell themā€¦ I COULD demonstrateā€¦ but I do not feel like flagging youā€¦

Look at all thisā€¦

Is that the amount of flags? Sorry, it is so small I can not see it.

Thatā€™s just my messages, actually. And itā€™s all flagsā€¦

While I believe that Agent_Y has been complaining a little too much on this topic and a few others, I do not think that the flags made against him were appropriate or necessary.

Flagging should only be done to let the moderators know that the post in question has broken the forum rules. This includes things like inappropriate content, spamming, bullying, off-topic, etc. Flagging a post simply because you donā€™t like it or donā€™t agree with it seems like flag misuse, and you can be punished for that.
I donā€™t think that the flag function should be restricted to a particular trust level, but I believe that there should be stricter rules to prevent or discourage flag misuse, such as removing that userā€™s ability to flag posts temporarily or permanently.

I have read and reread some of Agent_Yā€™s posts that ended up being flagged and found nothing in them that would warrant a flag. Whoever is flagging his posts, make sure you have a very, very, very good reason to do so, otherwise you might get someone in trouble for little reason. Or you might put yourself in trouble, too.

Agreed. I have found some of @Agent_Y 's post that were flagged even though there was not one thing wrong with it, but there are some posts that could be flagged, but I do not like to flag, and have never done so.

Iā€™ve only flagged about three or four times, and those posts were later deleted and the posters got banned. I donā€™t like to flag people either, but I only do so when those posts genuinely break the rules.

So, Iā€™d just like to say that the entire OTA has been flagging or messaging Grazer about Agent Y. I have flagged maybe five of Agentā€™s posts the last few months. Itā€™s 30 people.

Iā€™ve flagged a few that were way out of line, but I donā€™t flag every single comment he posts. There might be an imposter in our midst, but idk who it would be.

I did flag one post on here. I assume itā€™s everyone.

Seriously?

Agent_Y is innocent, and hasnā€™t said anything breaking ANY guidelines, nor has he done any of the reasons that is needed to be flagged. I donā€™t see why people flag him for having an opinion and giving advice? Whether itā€™s rude or not, just take the advice.

Heck, I give rude advice a lot, but I expect people to still accept the advice rather than get defensive about something.
