well there are horror games on here, and John’s games have some blood, but you would have to put 13+ if its mild, but 18+ if there is a whole lot, and M if its nightmare fuel

almost all my games have blood and eldabyss and game sold on steam made in flowlab has blood too!
You can technically make a game over just about anything, but I recommend adding warnings either in the game itself or listed somewhere in the description. I think it’s a legal requirement in modern games to have a rating like E for everyone, teen, mature, etc. It’s not necessarily enforced on flowlab, but anything that’s super heavy on gore or other mature themes, I would recommend adding a warning beforehand, but mild gore or cartoon violence should be alright.

Kind of depends on the art style, I suppose. Since it’s pixel art, it’s kind of already censored in a way, but I would still suggest putting a warning somewhere in the game or description. But other than that, you should be alright.

Flowlab isn’t like scratch where they just ban random horror games, so yeah
scratch is for kids mostly flowlab is for mature adults
I wouldn’t even say that. Flowlab is for everyone, although most people who grew up using flowlab in school, are basically younger adults now, or at least the users on the forums and discord.
There’s probably a lot more active users that we don’t even know about, but only a handful use the forums.

“Scratch being for kids so they shouldn’t see anything explicit” is also what sets me off. Kids nowadays are literally watching lots of adult shows like The Last of Us and even turning really good and dark ones into brain-rot. And I’m talking about the 5-8 year-olds. Of course this isn’t a reason why we should make those for kids, but still.

I would blame most of that on the parents. Most of them use ipads as a simple babysitter and don’t moderate what content they watch so they watch a lot of adult cartoons and cringe content on youtube.
There are so many kids who have watched Hazbin Hotel and Helluva boss and I couldn’t stand the series anymore. It’s kind of painful to watch, since a lot of the plot seems very similar to 7+ shows but also has a ton of sexual content, gore, and swearing.
Also, we should probably move this to the OTC, I didn’t see what discussion this was in.

That’s also the reason why when I ever get kids, I won’t let them have a device until they’re 12. Also, agreed
yeah well scratch is trying to make an effort to stop kids from seeing stuff such as that

Apologies for using scratch as a reason to let off a little steam because of this modern world. I still love scratch, even with these reasons
To get back on topic, this is a pretty good game. I still don’t know how to make the CPUs shoot
