Grazer/Mod help, lost a tutorial

Hello all,

If you’ve been on flowlab for a while you’d know we all get drastically better at this art form as time goes on. For me in particular, well, I was pretty bad at many things when I was younger. I made a poor “tutorial” a long time ago that was my most played game. A few months ago, I realized how many people went to it for help. Thus, I chose to revamp it with my current knowledge. This was done successfully, albeit the example did not showcase as much as I knew. I was planning on expanding it a few days ago, but found that it was deleted! I assume it was because too many people were checking such an awful example. However, it has been and will be revamped and expanded. Is there any way at all to recover my work? Thank you very much.

I think that grazer added a new update so you should be able to view your deleted projects within a weeklong period, but anything past that is permanently gone.
I don’t know how to access it or where to view it, but it should be somewhere on your profile or the main page.

Hey @meburningslime - are you saying that this game auto-deleted, and was not deleted by you?

similar thing happened to my account that had hundreds of hours of work and progress on it, idk how it got deleted, all I know is that I haven’t used it for a couple of months before it did.

I did not delete this game manually.

Same here. I wonder if it might be a bug or something if it wasn’t us or Grazer?

Was it named “New Game”? That actually shouldn’t matter if you were using your main account, but games:

  • named “New Game”
  • and with no thumbnail/cover
  • and by a free user
  • and with only a few edits
  • and not touched in a long time

can be automatically deleted, but I’m guessing none of those things are true for the game you are talking about.

I used the same email to create a new account (thus I was able to recover my forums account) but the account that I previously mentioned is just gone. Maybe because I reverted my indie subscription and didn’t use the account for a long time, the account fell under some sort of criteria (like the one grazer mentioned for games) and my account has been auto-deleted.

Correct, it was none of the above. I believe it was named “Flowlab Mechanics Tutorial” with the same thumbnail as my pfp.
