Hello. I know I know, I’m supposed to know how to do this. It’s such a simple task, but somehow I don’t know how to do it. I am making a weapon in our collab game Clash of the Devs and if you walk forwards and shoot it hits you. Why? How?

It sounds like the emit location is in or against the bullet when walking forward, causing a collision to trigger. I can find a work around when I look at it, but you need to ignore the bullet only when it emits.
just make the emit akspire after = 0 then use a always than make the aktivation a switch.
