How to make falling items drop at different speeds + different times

I trying to make a falling-items game where the player tries to catch the correct items and avoid the wrong ones, but how to make them fall at different times + speeds? and perhaps a randomizer so it changes everytime the game restarts?
help will be greatly appreciated!!

The more density an object has, the faster it falls. I know, not how it works irl, but if you up the density you can have a bowling ball and if you lower it you can have a feather.
