Hey guys, I have a little project that I’ll start after the 2024 Winter game Jam. (I’ll do the basics ASAP, so that could mean during the Flowjam.)

Being the car enthusiast and game developer that I am, I couldn’t ignore racing games. I tried to make one later in 2023, but that failed. Now I’m back.

The player can pick between three every-day sports cars from three of the biggest car manufacturers on the planet: Toyota, Honda, and Ford.

The starting cars are the 2024 Toyota GR Corolla, the 2024 Honda Civic Sport, and the 2024 Ford Focus Sport!

ANNDD you read the title correctly, this game will be a 3D 3rd-person racing game. 3D!!!

There’s only one problem, I only know a little more than half the mechanics needed for this game… so there are going to be quite a few help requests.

I could write another few pages on the game, but most of you hate reading things that long, so I’ll stop here.

First bug: Why is my movement breaking?
My Top-Down Movement broke.

But this game is more 3rd Person.

Oh yeah, I forgot. I was originally going to make it 3rd person, then I changed my mind and tried 1tst person, then I changed it back and kept it 3rd person.

Just updated the corolla.

It’s new top speed is 0-60 in 4.998 seconds and has a top speed of 140 mph. It probably has upgraded torque and HP too, so I need to update that too.

Also, I’m planning on adding seven other cars than the starter hatchbacks. Which cars should I add?
