So I need to have the falling platforms not move while a player is on them but have them fall to the ground. Can someone help me, please?

UNNEEDED HELP, GO!!!
Let me explain this real quick.
Have a solid object not affected by gravity. On collision with player, get a number (this is your speed), and make it negative. Attach it to the Y of a velocity.
