Yooooooooooooooooooooooooooo, I’m back. It also seems I missed the summer jam which is unfortunate. Can someone fill me in on any changes that have been made in the last 2/3 months. Also who’s still around from when I was last active and who’s new around here?

I’m thinking I’m going to take an old game and redesign it a little. I still suck at pixel art though so if someone wants to come help me with that or just help develop the project hit me up.

(Basic concept I’m working off of) https://flowlab.io/game/play/1197493

the goal is to make a graveyard like game were enemies will continue spawning indefinitely.

On the technical side, @TinkerSmith , @thebrickccentric and I have made random world generation. JR 01 and I have made amends and multiple people have made ragdolls. The flowjam started a few game trends. I made an MMO. Jr 01 made another mobile game.

@meburningslime I have been too, I started the thread about random world generation. I have just been busy.

@“The Kodex” lol there u are

I think within the 2 or 3 months, Global Variables been added. Not sure when exactly it was added, or if you knew about them.

But also I won the last Flowjam if you could give feedback on the game. I plan to get back on after I finish my summer classes next week and work on a few things I’ve had planned for a while.

Also one of the Games Pizza has been working on was released 2 months ago called Stacy. I would also give the game a try when you get the chance.

Still waiting for your contribution @meburningslime , as in the example you promised … if you are not too busy …

I have to say so far @thebrickccentric 's example is the best, covers nearly all we targeted for, Credit where Credit’s due.

@meburningslime … flooding threads with common knowledge wrapped as your pearls of wisdom really doesn’t do it.
Actually, the world still turns … even without you telling it how to, lol.

Get your act together and stay away from me with claims like that.

If you think removing your insulting comment changes anything @meburningslime , you are mistaken.
I stay to what I said and it only confirms what I think of you.

Oh nice. Random world generation is something I’ve thought about for awhile but never tried. I remember trying rag dolls but they never worked out. Think it would be possible with ragdolls to make a rope of some sort? I’ve always wanted that as an element.

@“JR 01” your game is great. Only problem was I feel it could stand to be a hair more forgiving and the game lagged out for me a little. Really really good though keep up the good work.

also can someone link me to the random world generation posts. I have an idea involving that

Hiya @“my_name (<_>)”

The main thread is here:

Some more details are here:

And regarding your rope, not sure if this might be of use to you:

Happy reading, lol

P.S. @“my_name (<_>)”

regarding world map, look at @thebrickccentric 's example.

It even got a minimap

Also there was a fullscreen behavior added as well as a physics frame rate behavior added as well as multiplayer is back

Bruh, he’s gone again. It’s been 6 months lol, don’t revive old discussions.

However for anyone who had to come back to this post, I apologise. I’ll try to make up for it.
