Tank Battles Review
Fun: 1.5 - This game has so much going on, there seems to be no gameplay at all except slamming the keyboard.
Art: 1 - The art was kinda bland and very un-polished. The labels were set to Oduda, and it used the built-in bars , so it looked like you were a very new user. In addition, there was a lot of blank space on the menus that was all black that you could fill up with other stuff.
Overview: 1.25
Tendrils of Fate Review
Fun: 1 - There wasn’t much to do, the knight was way too hard to beat, and I could jump right over him. So mostly, I was just breaking fences with my sword and getting XP from chests.
Art: 2.90 - The art was pretty good, though some background of some sort could be added to fill up the blank red space above everything.
Overview: 1.905
Fun: 3.275 - It is pretty good dungeon game, it has a unique gameplay, multiple attacks.
Art: 2.5 - not that good of art though not that bad art.
Overview: 2.9
Looks like someone beat me to a rating topic
It’s actually not a dungeon game, it’s called a Metroidvania! A metroidvania is when the game is one big level and instead of being told where to go, the player must figure it out themselves. In order to enter new areas you normally must unlock a new ability that will allow you to do so. (Like how I did with the Fire and Pebbles.).
So, how is the art bad? I don’t see anything wrong with it, since the art is supposed to look like a kids drawing
I play on chromebook, so I’m unable to shoot fireballs in your metroidvania. Is there a way to make it Chromebook friendly?
Click the track pad with two fingers for a right click!
Huh? What kind of Chromebook do you use? I’ve been able to play Welrd Sayver just fine by right clicking on the trackpad.
Lol. Sorry. I just realized I had to obtain it. Otherwise, thanks.
No problem! Also you can Right-Click by holding Alt + Leftclick too if your Trackpad is broken for some reason
Do you mean this guy?
Did you try using the burst power?
Anyway, thanks for the review.
Taile Gamougg 1 Review:
Fun: 1.5 - It was a very simple and uncreative game, you didn’t do much except walk around and punch enemies.
Art: 4 - Very good and professional, has good animation.
Overview: 2.25
Just in case I’m playing this wrong or something, you can always reply back on stuff I might not know about that will change the gameplay.
Thanks for the review! In the future, it would be best practice [as a programmer] to reply to the message where the review was asked for or to @ mention the user in your review so that it’s easier to find.
The game is very simple, yeah. Uncreative too? Yeah, I guess there isn’t anything special about this game in the series; it’s just a watered-down reboot of the original game. Thank you again for the straightforward feedback. I shall work on making the game more fun to play. Just a friendly reminder that you can unlock some cool weapons in level 2 and again after level 6! Did you happen to notice that? If not, I’ll make their unlock more obvious. There’s a little more you can do besides just punching the opps, but I’ll see what I can do. Btw in Gamougg 2 (not the original, but the remake) there are no weapons at all and you just chuck balls at people, it’s hilarious
