Keep between levels broke

I accidentally turned keep between levels on, and now my player duplicates even though I turned it off

Delete the copies that are in the level (if you enter the editor you should see them)

I did get rid of them, but they come back randomly

Strange, can you link the game or do you want to keep it private?

Make sure keep between levels is turned off and reload the game page.
DM me the game link if this keeps happening.

Edit: we resolved the issue, the setting got cached and had to clear the cookies.
