I honestly feel like 7D Wanderer’s going to be one of those games you stumble across, play for a couple of minutes and stop. This wouldn’t the first time a minecraft clone with different dimensions has been one of these games either. Dotcraft (0D MC), Linecraft (1D MC), Minicraft (I count this as 2.5D MC bc there’s really nowhere else to put it in the dimensional minecraft timeline) & Aperiodic Voxels (6D MC) all seem to be some of these games you’ll play for a bit when you’re bored and then probably never again. The only ones that seem to have not been one of these “bored & never again” games are Terraria (2D MC,fight me), Minecraft (3D MC) & 4D Miner (4D MC).

But oh well. At least my game will have a use and be played by some people. Might even get popular for a small period of time but i doubt it. 7DW was named 7D Wanderer because I didn’t think it would become much more than just a minecraft clone with 7 dimensions you can wander around in. And at least you won’t have to join a discord and look up “demo” to find a small demo unlike what you have to do for 6D.

Blocks don’t float without support I believe, therefore it is not minecraft. And the game is based off progression whereas minecraft you could do anything you want, you aren’t forced to kill the dragon at all.

i think the first attempt i made of a higher dimensional game was what was once considered by me a game but now a proof of concept “just some portal shenanigans” it’s got 5 portals and only 2 of them work. should i finish it
