ok needs fixes but I can see it coming together

I really like games designed like this! Great Job :+1:

Pixel size inaccuracy is what they call it. (I’ll dm you it to not flood this topic)

Not bad at all.

It’s a sin where you don’t stick to one pixel resolution and instead vary the brush size/resolution. It kills the quality of your games significantly and this community tends to frown upon it. People who don’t frown upon it are in the minority

mmm I see that’s one way of putting it

Sooo, I’m currently committing that said sin?

You wouldn’t dare do such a thing…

Maaaaaaaaayyyyyyybbbbbbe (I start with size 2-3 for shape and then size 1 for details and molding, and then sometimes switch to 2-4 for erasing large chunks)

Seriously though, mixels are unprofessional. If nobody evolves past them, I promise your ambitions will die with you. (exaggeration, but kind of not - if you fail to realize you can always improve and get better and think you’re at your current magnum opus, then it’s the truth)
Mixels make your game look disgusting. This is not a subjective view… I used to use them and I now absolutely hate any of my work that did use them. (so no pulling any “gotcha!” stuff on me by pulling up TSOA X, I hate the final result of that game)

Is this for me, or pixle-studio?

Anyone here really, consider it a PSA

Yes, that looks much better than mixels, because it’s at least trying to be resolution consistent

Okay, since that would be the results for my little process

Everyone’s process is different, just be conventional in your final result
