The stuff u told me to do for the block that shoots works, but the projectile is coming out of the side of the block when id rather want it to come out the bottom of the block. any idea how?

Objects emit in the “forward” direction of the object that is emitting them. If you want to emit from the bottom of an object, the simplest solution is to edit the block, click on properties, and then set the “forward” direction to “down”.
