As someone who uses a lot of objects in my games, I propose there be a way to organize your objects in the library. Something like sorting apps on a phone, just kinda dragging different objects into separate folders, just to keep everything easier to find. This would definitely improve Flowlab for me, so if it gets added I’d be grateful!
Easy, do what @CodeAlpaca does and put things ahead of what each thing is, like Player-
yes, but that can get cut off by the page.
like if I have a whole bunch of ground tiles, and there are like 20 other objects that are alphabetically before the word “Ground”, the I have 10 “ground” tiles, they’re gonna be split between separate pages.
That’s what I do right now, I just think that this would make it easier to hold objects, as well as cutting down on the length of the names.
put a symbol before the objects, such as an ! or an ’ or really any symbol that is before text
yes but. . .
that still has the problem
I’m trying to sort things into groups very SEPRATE from each other
like I only want to see the thing I’m trying to place
so even if I know where it is because there’s a ! or something, there could still be random other stuff around it
it’s mostly me being a neato freako, but I just think it would be helpful
And for the future, I do HAVE a way of sorting objects, it’s just not as good as folders could be.
