Objects are going through each other

The ball in my game keeps on going through the paddles, any ideas how to fix this?

I think it does it if you the ball is in the middle of the paddle when you launch it

I couldn’t get it to happen, but sometimes weird stuff happens, especially when you’re moving an object quickly like that

Also usualy the paddles rotate when you press the bottons, instead of jump moving upwards

The best thing for the paddle objects is to make them not movable and only use velocity.
Motors and Impulse doesn’t work in unmovable objects (atm) and position can make objects go through it. You may also could raise the bounce in the paddles.
