Raycast THICC feature

Since the raycast doesn’t have a thickness, could we add an off-set for where the raycast originate from on that object?

I agree with this. You can sort of get the same effect by changing the angle and length, but depending on what you are using the ray for that doesn’t always work.

@johnpost And the ray-cast thickness would detect objects faster to disable switches.

But there is no thickness though, thats why we were asking about off-sets.

For example, raycast at angle 0 from top of the object.

Offsets would probably be a lot more straightforward to add than thickness, to be honest. I would also like to add some offsets for other functions like Emit and Attach, so maybe those could all be done in a batch.
