Maybe because you die once and get stuck in a loop of dying 15 more times because your jump state carries between lives.

Looks like you keep the speed upgrade if you restart, making some of the early levels functionally impossible.

Its randomized because I didn’t want to take several days making 15 different blocks for each level, sorry. I will try and adjust the colors.
