Hey! As many of you know I’ve been working on Rise for a very long time.
I’m super excited for everyone to try it out! I really appreciate all the support on the game!

Epic! I’m sure I’ll love it! It’s come a long way…

Worth the wait! So cool!

Btw, when will other skins be added to the store (I have a few suggestions if you are)?

I really like the smooth mechanics of everything, but i feel that your character should have more than one life or maybe a checkpoint. It really destroys the feeling of progression when you are thrown all the way back to the beginning.

Everything is blue or a bright color, and they work well for your game, except for the background, which is purple. I have no problem with this, but what I do find is that sudden awkward clip from the top of the background object and the bottom of another.
How I would fix this is going onto Piskel, importing the background image, going to preferences and enabling ‘Tile mode’. This will allow you to see the weird cut-off between sprites and fix it manually.

Music fits perfectly. No complaints there :ok_hand:

The Menu is neat and organized, while still maintaining that special feeling that this game really has something to offer. This makes for an awesome experience!

Tutorial is neat! Clever how you only made it play in the beginning of your first playthrough (save function, I wonder?)

That settings menu is also pretty handy!

I appreciate the leader board existing. It provides a welcome competition between real people.

The actual game play doesn’t disappoint either. As I said earlier, it is smooth and the game provides many unique objects for the player to avoid.

All in all, great work! It has come a long way!

Thank you for the feedback!

I feel like it would be too easy if there were checkpoints, so I didn’t add them.

I will try to fix the background soon.

Thanks!

The future gdash needs no checkpoints. You are one step closer to becoming the future foddy.

(although I might rival you for that with Serenity)

It looks like it could have been a cool math game, ngl. It has a nostalgic feel to it.

Since Flowlab uses HTML 5, maybe you could contact them to add it? Just a thought.

Congratulations on getting this game updated and released! I know it’s been a long time in the making.

I’ve added it to the featured games list: https://flowlab.io/game/browse

Rise does fit in well with most of the games I’ve seen on Cool Math. Sounds like it would be a great idea!
